Outing Information for 2006

 

If you are planning a corporate or family outing and want a top notch location then Norwich Golf Course is the place to go.  We can support outings of up to 200 people.  We also have restaurant facilities that can provide your awards banquet after the outing.  The outing fee for this year is $87 per person (non-members) and $49 per person (members of Norwich Golf Course).  This fee includes greens fee, cart, $8 per person for food and beverage (coordinate with the restaurant manager Judy Bromley), and $9 per person in pro shop merchandise (often used as gift certificates for prizes).  Personalized scorecards, cart signs, and results sheets are provided as part of your outing package.  Our friendly staff will greet your people and get their bags on their carts.  We even have rental clubs (at an additional charge) for those that may have forgotten to bring their own.  We will set up on-course competitions such as "Closest to the Pin" or "Longest Drive" on holes as you desire.  We will work with you to make your outing a success.

Guidelines:

1.  There is a $100 deposit to schedule the outing.  This will be credited to your final payment.

2.  All outings of less than 100 people must start sequentially from the first tee (no shotgun start).  A shotgun start requires a major disruption in tee times and significant lost revenue. 

3.  Outings greater than 100 people 'may' request a shotgun start. Outings on  weekends will only be after 12:00.  During the week the shotgun start may be in the morning if desired.

4.   Outings require us to schedule additional staff and do significant advance preparation.  Last minute changes disrupt the planning and can make the outing less enjoyable for you as well as us.  Having a coordinator in contact with our staff usually helps avoid problems.  If your plans change, please let us know as far in advance as possible.  We can often accommodate changes with enough time to reschedule.

5.  We require payment the day of the outing (cash, check, or credit card).  Please do not expect us to collect money from each individual in the group.  We accept MasterCard and Visa.  You will be charged the outing fee for each 'player' plus any additional charges such as rental clubs, extra carts for observers, etc.  If you have 'significantly' less people than you scheduled, you may be charged additional for the wasted food  (if you have planned a meal) and a fee for tournament planning.  At the very least you will be charged for the minimum outing (17 people for sequential tee times) and 100 people (for shotgun starts). 

6.  We require a players' list by group at least 48 hours in advance so that we can make personalized cart signs and score sheets.  Last minute changes will be dealt with as best we can but can adversely affect a smooth running event.
